With his remarkable voice and authentic songwriting, 17-year-old Wolfgang is one of the most striking young talents in the Netherlands. “From powerful and raw to tender and fragile – a promise for the future,” wrote the jury of Mooie Noten 2024, where he became the youngest winner ever of the prestigious singer-songwriter competition. His music draws comparisons to icons like Jeff Buckley and Tamino: intense, layered, and full of emotional tension.

His musical journey began early. At just thirteen, he opened for The Avonden at Patronaat and later for theatre musician Flip Noorman at Tolhuistuin. Over the years, he independently released four diverse albums and three singles on Bandcamp, and three singles and one EP on all platforms, showcasing both his artistic growth and versatility. He was already selected for several Sofar showcases and on the 10th of January 2026 he played a sold out releaseshow of his first EP Wistful Way at the famous Paradiso venue in Amsterdam.

With his original sound and prolific output, Wolfgang is building a body of work that grows alongside life itself — a personal soundtrack of life, for everyone.
